The Open Eyes Economy Summit (OEES) is an international congress devoted to debating how to create and sustain a free market economy which is inclusive of social, environmental, democratic and human rights values. The OEES Congress is held once a year, in early autumn, at the ICE Krakow Congress Centre. The Third OEES took place on November 20-21st and JLS was in attendance. Over 2000 attendees had a chance to listen and debate with several prominent Polish and foreign academicians, economists, lawyers, journalists, students, CEOs of large multinationals as well as owners of small-scale start-ups. Politicians of various persuasions were in attendance and debated their various policy solutions. The OEES Congress was accompanied by several cultural events; among them performance of “Amber Tree” by Art Color Ballet group lead by Agnieszka Glinska and a “Speak Calmly” - a theatrical spectacle combining poetry of Adam Zagajewski set to a live music by Włodek Pawlik (winner of GRAMMY and a prominent jazz musician).
