16th Annual Pennsylvania Conference for Womendate: 2018-10-02

The 16th annual Conference for Women showcased over 100 speakers. Among them, was Philadelphia mayor Jim Kenney and Pennsylvania governor Tom Wolf.   Amal Clooney, an Oxford educated British human rights lawyer practicing international and human rights law delivered a key-note address discussing her work before the International Court of Justice, the International Criminal Court and the European Court of Human Rights.  Serena Williams, the winner of 23 Grand Slams spoke about her charitable work on behalf of UNICEF.  Among the academic speakers, was professor Martie Haselton of UCLA, one of the world’s leading researchers on women’s sexuality and the author of a recently published book “Hormonal.”
