Christmas Party 2010
December 15, 2010

President Szymanski sends this message:

December 10, 2010, is the deadline to reply to the invitation to the Jagiellonian Law Society¡¯s Christmas party, which is being funded and hosted by the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York, Trade and Investment Section. The party is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at 5:30 pm at the Polish Cultural Center at 308 Walnut Street in Philadelphia. There is free street parking available on Wednesday nights on Walnut Street. In addition, there is parking in the church lot behind the Cultural Center, by making a left off of Walnut onto Fourth Street and going south, and then turning left into the alley.

This is a dinner event at no cost to our members. The presenter will be Henryk Sanecki, the First Counselor of the Consulate and head of its Trade and Investment Section. Mr. Sanecki will give a fifteen minute talk, to be followed by a video for ten minutes. His theme will be to encourage people and businesses to invest in Poland. It should be a very interesting presentation. You can respond by calling the Consulate at 212-370-5300 or online at You can bring a guest or come alone. Be sure to state if you are bringing a guest. Even though the official reception said that the event starts at 6:00 pm, I have been assured that we can arrive at 5:30 pm, so that we can have a full cocktail hour. I want to emphasize that this is a party event, not an educational event. I hope many of us will attend.
