Guest Speaker: Michael Berkowicz - Mr. Berkowicz is the Chair of the New
York Region and Treasurer of the North American Council of the Museum, which serves to
support the educational mission and fundraising efforts of the Museum. He is also a founding
member of the Friends of the Krakow Jewish Culture Festival. Mr. Berkowicz grew up in postwar
Poland and he is passionately interested in Polish-Jewish dialogue and Jewish presence in
contemporary Poland.
